A course designed for people working in Early Years and Primary education, covering:

• Revision of theories of social and emotional development
• General support for optimal social and emotional development
• Causes of behaviour
• General Room or Classroom considerations

As an awareness course, you will know some of the contents of the course, but everyone will learn something.

Richard Curtis is the head of our organisation and the author of the training courses. His background is in mental health nursing, primary teaching, alternative provision and local authority. He is Chair of the National Special Educational Needs and Disability Awards, the Mental Health in Education Awards and the UK’s Mental Health Awards.
