Testimonials
This introductory course was great. It helped me fully understand my role as Mental Health Lead and was delivered in a very user friendly way.
The course was very clear, pitched at the right level for school staff to make the next step into becoming a Mental Health Lead. I had plenty of opportunity to ask if something wasn’t clear and I feel I have come away with enough insight and links for further resources to confidently get started.
Like that the course is broken down into different areas which is reflected in the action plan. It’s nice to focus mental health into these areas. Feels more manageable and less overwhelming as a lead.
About the course contents
This course helps people understand the requirements of the role and some common tools to help fulfil these requirements. Mental health issues and challenges are on the rise among staff and students. With 1 in 5 children and young people aged 8-25 reported to have a mental disorder in 2023.
Equip your team to recognise the early signs of mental health issues and react with crucial setting support reducing the need to refer to already stretched external services.
