About the course

Course Overview

This course is designed for professionals dedicated to supporting the Senior Mental Health Lead in a practical, hands-on capacity, including:

  • Pastoral Leads and Managers looking to formalise their mental health expertise and operational impact.
  • SENCOs and Inclusion Leads wanting to better integrate mental health support into existing SEND frameworks.
  • Aspiring Mental Health Leads or experienced Teaching Assistants seeking a structured pathway into specialised mental health leadership.

This one-day course is designed to provide an overview of the types of activities that an Assistant Mental Health Lead may undertake. Training therefore introduces the coverage of the role and some of the tasks that they may be asked to undertake.
