Level: 3 (accredited); Duration: 3 training days + portfolio
Suitable for: Teachers, teaching assistants, learning mentors and other pastoral staff in primary, secondary or further education and alternative provision settings.
Course overview: This live online course covers the content of the National Children’s Mentor and National Young Person’s Mentor Qualifications.
Staff will learn to:
- Understand the root causes of social, emotional and behavioural difficulties
- Learn best practice to assess, plan and deliver interventions
- Develop skills for working with children and overcome the barriers they face
- Adapt your approach to meet needs
