Who is this course for?
This course is designed for newly appointed Designated Governors to help them understand the Department for Education expectations, what they could monitor and how they can support the Designated Mental Health Lead.
It aims to help them understand the Department for Education expectations, the role of the Mental Health Lead and the support/monitoring activities that they can undertake as a governor to support a strategic approach.

Delivered online over Teams, this is a short 3 hour session covering online introduction to the role of the Mental Health Lead and the related duties of a Governor with responsibility for mental health and/or wellbeing.

Once you have completed the course, you will be sent your course certificate.
