Improved Attainment | Staff Retention | Reduced Exclusion Costs

Who is this course for?
People completing this course have experience of the role, and seek a more in-depth understanding of the role to strategically meet the needs of their pupils earlier and/or more effectively beyond the existing provision.
It can be used as a continuation of the introductory course, or as preparation for the full advanced course.
Course Overview
This two-day course helps people understand the role in deeper depth, helping them to think strategically and develop a comprehensive setting plan to meet the requirements of the role.
You will learn to embed wellbeing across your setting, integrating mental health across curriculum, policies and environment. This course deepens the participants understanding on the planning and monitoring of mental health provision.
A proactive, data driven approach will enable you to foster a genuinely supportive ethos, improving student attendance, attainment, and overall wellbeing, while also bolstering staff morale and retention. It transforms mental health support from an add-on to an integral part of school life.
